Lil Wayne’s long-running feud with Birdman and his label over the release of his new album seems to have hit a new boiling point this weekend. According to a report from TMZ, attempts at negotiating a settlement so that Lil Wayne will be able to release his new LP Tha Carter V have broken down and now Weezy plans to sue Birdman for $8 million that he claims he’s owed. Wayne will also ask a judge to be released from his contract with Young Money Cash Money Records saying that the label had broken the terms by not releasing his album.
