Somebody Re-Wrote Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ With Christmas-Themed Lyrics
It's called 'Kreezus'
In case you’ve been struggling to find a holiday gift for the Kanye fan in your life, search no more: A group called Local Business Comedy has created a Christmas parody album modeled entirely after Yeezus. The title? Kreezus.
Yes, this comedy collective actually found a Ye impressionist and re-wrote every song on the rapper’s sixth album with Xmas-themed lyrics. Check this out: Track three, “I Am a Clause,” opens with a ghostly “SILENT NIGHT! OH, HOLY NIGHT” before moving into an aggro set of yuletide verses that somehow maintain West’s signature straightforward style: “I just talked to Jesus / He said, ‘What up, Kreezus?’ / I said, ‘Climbing buildins, trying to gift these childrin.'”
