Dan Deacon Scored Adult Swim’s Truly Disturbing ‘Too Many Cooks’ Follow-Up
'Unedited Footage of a Bear' also features the electronic composer in a cameo role
If you’re just recovering from the madness that was Adult Swim’s Too Many Cooks, we’ve got some bad news. The latest in their series of hilarious and upsetting late night shorts is here, and Unedited Footage of a Bear is even creepier than its predecessor. It doesn’t take a genius to guess that the title is probably a ruse, but the less you know about Unedited Footage of a Bear before you go in, the better.
Part of the creepy short’s success can be attributed to its score, which was provided by electronic composer Dan Deacon. He also makes a brief appearance as one of the cops holding a screaming suspect. Given that the music video for the lead single of his upcoming album, Gliss Riffer, featured two armchairs having frantic sex upon coming to life, Deacon’s brand of weird is right up Adult Swim’s alley. Watch it above.
