Following a felony gun possession arrest last June and a marijuana-related run-in in October, Bobby Shmurda and members of his GS9 crew have reportedly been apprehended by the NYPD in New York City. According to KarenCivil.com, the Brooklyn rapper — born Ackquille Pollard — and his crew were taken into custody at Quad Studios near Times Square. Unspecified weapons were also seized by police. In addition to the “Shmoney Dance” creator, Epic Records exec Sha Money XL was allegedly apprehended as well. No statement from Epic or the NYPD are available at this time.
