Watch TV on the Radio’s Ecstatic ‘Happy Idiot’ Performance on ‘Letterman’

Brooklyn art-rock aesthetes bring 'Seeds' to 'The Late Show'

Brooklyn art-rockers TV on the Radio just released their airy new LP Seeds this week, and before they tackle the handful of tour dates they have slated so far, they made a trek over to midtown Manhattan to drop by The Late Show With David Letterman. Full band in tow, vocalist Tunde Adebimpe ran through a spirited rendition of lead single “Happy Idiot,” which seems to delve into full on sunny-eyed indie pop in its live iterations. Afterward, Letterman offered his usual praise and noted that they’d trekked “all the way from Brooklyn.” Catch video of the full performance up above, and for more be sure to check out our cover story that details the band’s recent endeavors.
