Smashing Pumpkins Snare Rage Against the Machine and Killers Musicians For New Tour

The band will play intimate album launch shows across the world

With the release of their new album Monuments to an Elegy rapidly approaching, the Smashing Pumpkins have announced a series of intimate release shows with a touring lineup that includes Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk and Killers bassist Mark Stoermer. With the strong singles “Tiberius” and “One And All” under their belt from the December 9 project, Billy Corgan and company will hit Berlin, London, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles for smaller-scale celebrations.

“To say we’re jazzed about these upcoming shows is an understatement,” Corgan said in a tweet this morning, adding, “Mark and Brad are incredible musicians. Set we’ve got is killer too.” Check out the Pumpkins’ full tour dates below, excluding their appearances at next year’s Lollapalooza Festivals in South America (as it’s not yet known whether Wilk and Stoermer will accompany them). Chicago and San Francisco dates are also promised.
