Because life is good (and as you may already be aware), El-P and Killer Mike of Run the Jewels have agreed to remake their recent Run the Jewels 2 using nothing but cat noises, after Sly Jones pitched the idea via Kickstarter. But the latest and greatest news is that this week the guys all actually met up in Phoenix, Arizona to talk about and hash out how they’ll proceed to create Meow the Jewels.
During their discussion, El-P, Killer Mike and Jones talked strategy and debated whether or not cats are really space aliens sent down from outer space to watch us, report back, and just generally act weird, among other feline theories.
