Metallica ‘Hit the Lights’ on Week-Long ‘Late Late Show’ Residency

The metal legends played the 'Kill 'Em All' opener for their first performance

What better way for a band to start a week-long late night residency in this case, Metallica on the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson  then by playing the first track on their first album? The metal legends did so on last night by kicking off their CBS stay with Kill ‘Em All opener “Hit the Lights,” ripping through the thrash classic with typical shredding menace, and they seem in no worse shape more than 30 years after their formation.
