It certainly would not be too antiquated to call Brooklyn punk outfit Low Fat Getting High a power trio — on new song “Start All Over Again,” the group seems determined to exhaust enough amp wattage to cause a block-wide blackout. The song, whose bass-led fuzz-rock attack can hold its own with the grungiest Queens of the Stone Age and Death From Above 1979 jams, sounds like LFGH’s three members attempting to race each other to the end, improbably picking up steam the closer they get to the finish line. Cream would have been proud.
Listen to the blistering new track below, and watch out for Low Fat’s self-titled debut LP, out November 11 on Money Fire Records.
