The National Football League has finally announced that Katy Perry will officially headline the 2015 Super Bowl Halftime show. It’s a good thing too, because sources confirmed to Variety that the Prisim singer was playing the show over a month ago, and it would’ve been really awkward if she had shown up on game day only to find that somebody else snagged the gig. Thankfully, that’s not the case. Bob Costas made the announcement on TV during the Cowboys-Giants game on Sunday night, while Perry chimed in on Twitter from Australia where she’s currently on tour.

Pepsi offered a joking sneak peek of the big show in a video of the pop star’s “Halftime Show Testing Facility.” In the skit, above, Perry suggests covering the stadium with edible glitter, or perhaps a thousand kittens. So, yeah, it’s gonna be a glitzy show. Next year’s Super Bowl will be held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 1, on NBC.
