Jack White Talks the ‘Lost Treasures’ of Paramount Records Box Set on ‘CBS This Morning’

He was trying to show "how ludicrous that [he] could be with [his] free time."

Last year, Jack White unleashed the first ornate installment of a series of box sets compiling the collected releases of Wisconson blues label Paramount Records. In spite of mounting concerns about copyright issues, the second installment sees release Monday, December 1 and the Lazaretto singer took some time out of his busy tour schedule to stop by CBS This Morning and talk about the new set with host Anthony Mason. As Mason point out, the two sets of “lost treasures” may run you “about a month of mortgage payments” (or $800 at the Third Man Records webstore), but for White it mostly just served to show off “how ludicrous that [he] could be, really, with [his] free time.” You can watch the segment up above.
