Hear Kendrick Lamar’s Unreleased Verse on Flying Lotus’ ‘Eyes Above’

It was unveiled it at the producer's San Diego concert

Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar have worked together before, specifically on “Never Catch Me” from the former’s latest album, You’re Dead! But did you know that the two had recorded another piece to the album that never got released? According to a Pitchfork interview with Lotus, (born Steven Ellison), Lamar had contributed a verse to You’re Dead! track “Eyes Above,” but it got cut from the album for “political reasons.”

Well, someone’s been reaching across the aisle, because Lotus occasionally plays Kendrick’s lost verse live, which he did recently at a You’re Dead! tour stop in San Diego. Check it above.
