David Bowie Channels Film Noir For ‘Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)’ Video

David Bowie, Sue or in a Season of Crime, Video, Nothing Has Changed

In David Bowie’s fittingly dark and mysterious “Sue (or in a Season of Crime)” video — one of the two new songs on the glam rock legend’s retrospective anthology Nothing Has Changed — the icon takes the black and white approach. Film noir-inspired shots of seedy alleyways and underpasses in London and New York are occasionally lit by lyrics that look like they might be cast from the headlights of a passing car. You’d be forgiven for expecting Humphrey Bogart to emerge from the shadows during one of the song’s mighty horn blares. Check it out above.

Nothing Has Changed will be released on November 18. The project also includes another new Bowie track, “‘Tis a Pity She Was a Whore,” and lots of music from the Labyrinth star’s 50-year music career.
