Primus Offers Five Fans Concert Tickets for Life in ‘Willy Wonka’-Inspired Album Release

Primus Willy Wonka Concept Album Free Tickets

Primus’ Willy Wonka-inspired album Primus and the Chocolate Factory With the Fungi Ensemble is already streaming thanks to the New York Times, but as its official release approaches on October 21 they’ve announced a little more exciting news about the rollout. Like the golden ticket campaign that spurs the action in Roald Dahl’s novel and the Gene Wilder-starring film, Primus has decided to offer a pretty special reward to anyone who ends up purchasing one of five gold copies of the new record. Should you happen to come across one, you’ll be granted free entry to any Primus show for life. Rolling Stone points out that the exciting news comes with a video released by Les Claypool’s proggy crew that recalls the opening sequence of the film, but instead of showing the production of chocolate, it depicts the process of cutting the band’s chocolate-colored LP. Watch that above.
