A Nickelback Hater Launched a Campaign to Keep the Band Out of London

People hating on Nickelback is more or less a constant in the world, much like the flooding of the Nile River. There’s so much hate. The latest attack on one of the biggest punching bags in pop history is a campaign to keep them out of London.

The most recent high-profile hater on Chad Kroeger and company is Craig Mandall, who launched the crowdfunding campaign “Don’t Let Nickel Back,” to accomplish this goal. Mandall will write an email on the behalf of anyone who donates to his noble campaign and send it to Nickelback’s management. Bigger donations will result in more explicit emails, and anyone who gives $50 will have an mp3 of a Nickelback song included in their email. “This way, the band will hear their own music, and likely retire immediately, thereby ensuring the success of our campaign,” the donation page explains.

Mandall is trying to reach a $1,000 goal which he will donate to charity. He was inspired by a successful crowdfunding campaign that brought the Foo Fighters to Richmond, Virginia. If you donate to his bizzaro version you will “get the added bonus of not seeing Nickelback. And perhaps helping to ensure no one ever does again.”

To be clear, there is a zero percent chance that this will impact Nickelback’s touring decisions in any way, shape, or form. But, you know, haters gonna hate.
