Lil Jon and Lena Dunham Want You to ‘Turn Out For What’ and Vote

The unlikely duo join forces for a new 'Rock the Vote' video

Who would’ve thought that crunk-rap star Lil Jon and Girls auteur Lena Dunham would have such natural chemistry? In a new video released by the Rock the Vote campaign, the dynamic duo employ viewers to “Turn Out For What,” and vote in the upcoming midterm elections. The video is set, naturally, to a slightly modified version of Lil Jon’s smash, “Turn Down For What.”

A dancing Dunham appears to say that she’s voting in support of reproductive rights, while Lil Jon, naturally, attempts to get marijuana legalized because of course he is. Several other celebrities appear in the skit and music video, including Sophia Bush, Whoopi Goldberg, Orange Is the New Black’s Natasha Lyonne, and Fred Armisen, who sheepishly admits he’s turning out because he wants to impress his friends.

Watch the video above, and if you’ve been inspired by Lil Jon and friends, turn out on Election Day November 4.
