Iggy Azalea’s New Song Will Definitely ‘Make You Beg’ For Something
It's relief — you'll beg for relief
Like it or not, it looks like “Iggy Szn” is in full swing, as the rapper demonstrated when she dropped a brand new song on Friday — her second new track in as many days. Azalea’s “Beg For It” is set to be the lead single from Reclassified, the reissue of her massively popular but critically maligned debut, The New Classic.
The Aussie’s “Fancy” friend Charli XCX was initially set to sing the chorus on “Beg For It,” but she was replaced with Danish singer MØ at some point, according to Idolator. MØ’s super catchy and heavily processed chorus is a bright spot amid Azalea’s boastful teasing of all the boys who want her. The bulk of the song does sound quite a bit like a mashup of “Fancy” and “Black Widow,” a comparison that can, we guess, be taken as a compliment. Or, you know, not.
