Daniel Radcliffe is known for being a good sport, which is probably how Jimmy Fallon got the British superstar to rap the entirety of Blackalicious’ “Alphabet Aerobics” on The Tonight Show last night. It’s an impressive, impassioned, intricate performance (see what we did there?) that demonstrates a keen understanding of the song’s lyrics.
Things start off slowly, with Radcliffe seeming to stumble through his attempt at an American accent, but when the song gets to the middle of the alphabet, the Harry Potter star picks up steam and starts ethering his rhymes. It’s clearly a song he’d known well before showing up on the late-night talkshow, but the actor might want to work on his breath control (when he got to V, we started to get nervous that he’d pass out).
