Dream pop duo Beach House treated a Montreal audience to a brand new song — only the second new track (via Consequence of Sound) we’ve heard from them since 2012’s Bloom. They played the currently untitled tune while finishing up a Canadian tour earlier this month, but a new, surprisingly well shot fan-filmed clip of the song recently started making the rounds. It’s only 90 seconds long, but you can get a pretty good sense of the poignantly heavy slow jam.
Nothing has been announced about an official new album, but this could easily be an early sign that they’re working on something. Sadly though, it doesn’t look like they’re going to continue their exciting streak of releasing a new record every two years, since the clock is already (yikes) running out on 2014.
