Jeff Goldblum charmed Seth Meyer’s Late Night audience last night with a very brief but very amusing rendition of the Jurassic Park theme song with fan-written lyrics. Though the actor professed to know only a snippet of the entire lyrical masterpiece, he led the crowd in a spirited sing-along (only slightly better than the bizarre but mesmerizing Park trap-rap remix) with a little help from Meyers’ band. Watch the video above and relish the joy of knowing that Goldblum still cares about the Jurassic Park fandom all these years later. Of course, this is a known fact for many Los Angeles residents — he’s been holding intermittent residencies around the city for years and is known to perform the 1993 film’s theme backed by his jazz outfit, the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
