The basic rule of thumb when it comes to attending a Chris Brown show these days is that there’s going to be some sort of scuffle.
The “Loyals” singer gave a performance at a Lil Wayne and Drake after-party in Hollywood on Monday night, after which there was a stabbing, because of course there was a stabbing, because there’s controversy wherever this guy goes. Remember how last month the music mogul Suge Knight got shot along with two other people at one of Brown’s parties? It never ends.
According to TMZ, members of Brown’s entourage allegedly got into it with a male clubgoer at the singer’s Supperclub gig, where the man was stabbed and hospitalized. He’s expected to recover, according to the report. The most telling part of the story is when a police source gives the following quote:
When Brown and his people show, we know what’s going to happen. It’s a headache for us.
There’s a pretty obvious solution staring everyone in the face here. Clubs: Stop booking Chris Brown. Club patrons: Stop supporting clubs that book Chris Brown. Case closed.
