CeeLo, CeeLo, CeeLo. People tried to tell you to stay off Twitter, and for a minute, you took the advice and deactivated your account in the wake of insensitive comments about sexual consent. Why then, late last night, did you reactivate your account just to piss off countless more people with the following tweet?
I truly and deeply apologize for the comments attributed to me on Twitter. Those comments were idiotic, untrue and not what I believe.

Sigh. Hey CeeLo, maybe this is why TBS canceled your show. Adding the phrase “for the comments attributed to me on Twitter” sort of defeats the purpose of the apology. Consider us unimpressed.
