Beyonce and Jay Z Light Up a Stadium in HBO Performance of ‘Young Forever,’ ‘Halo’

Take a peek inside their "On the Run" tour thanks to a documentary clip

Over the weekend, HBO finally aired Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On the Run” concert documentary, but fortunately if you missed it—or don’t happen to have a premium cable package—the duo has shared another clip from the film. Though we’ve already seen a short film composed of the b-roll as well as a couple of teasers and trailers, Bey and Jay have shared the first performance from the doc in the form of a stunning medley of The Blueprint 3s “Young Forever” and “Halo.”

Introducing the songs, Jay Z asks that the entirety of the Paris, France crowd to put up their cellphones and “light the stadium up,” but even if they hadn’t responded in kind, the performance (backed by nostalgic home videos) probably would have done a good enough job. It’ll be enough to get you even more excited for that rumored collaborative album, at the very least. Watch the seven-minute medley up above.
