It’s commonly understood that Avicii is one of the hardest working DJs, playing hundreds of shows a year all across the world. It’s no wonder then that the Swedish producer is apparently under the weather enough to have now canceled all upcoming performances and appearances for the rest of 2014. In a confirmation to Billboard, Avicii’s reps told the magazine that “all touring and promotional activities have been suspended, pending the Swedish dance star’s recovery from lingering health issues.” Those issues are directly related to the “Don’t Wake Me Up” producer’s appendix and gallbladder surgical removals earlier this year, which also forced him to miss his headlining slot at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival. Avicii’s reps told the mag that his recuperation would take place in his hometown, Stockholm, with the hopes that the True producer could resume work on his second full length album once fully recovered.
