Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs are a Toronto six-piece that worships gloriously bombastic power-pop and shred-happy punk. And if the band’s new music video is to be believed, Coffey and co. also salute Satan. To promote their first proper full-length—the recently released Gates of Hell—the hookslingers have shared an eerile clip for the album’s joyously explosive title track. The mini-movie follows Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs as they walk through a patch of woods, wearing cloaks, and carrying a (seemingly) dead woman down into a candlelit basement. There they drink from blood-filled challices, chant, and eventually revive the woman with handclaps and singing. Hit the play button above to witness the most upbeat occult meeting ever, and head over to Southpaw Records to find the Gates of Hell LP.
