Toronto rapper and OVO affiliate P. Reign (born Raynford Humphrey) has been issuing hazy and blunted tracks since 2009, but his upcoming EP Dear America seems to finally have the sort of cosigns that might elevate him to the upper tier of Drake’s stable. In addition to slated guest appearances from Waka Flocka Flame, A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill, and PARTYNEXTDOOR, Reign’s new single “DnF” features cameos from his OVO boss and the recently single SPIN cover star Future. It’s a hedonist anthem that seems directly descendent from the highwire melodrama that Drake’s been putting forth over the course of his last few albums, a sensitive jam in which our protagonists just want to “get drunk and fuck.” Listen in full below.
