Watch These Muppets ‘Cover’ the Beastie Boys’ ‘So What’cha Want’

The Swedish Chef, Animal, and Beeker take on the 1992 classic

Today, we are given the gift of rapping Muppets. But not just rapping Muppets. Seen above, director Mylo the Cat mines old footage of the Swedish Chef, Animal, and Beaker to convincingly depict them “performing” an all-too-brief version of Beastie Boys classic “So What’cha Want.” While the actual visuals were originally paired with their rendition of “Danny Boy,” the gang has officially had fun with other ’90s fare — most notably, Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

If the clip left you hungry for more Muppets doing “covers,” below you’ll find Kermit the Frog trying his hand at LCD Soundsystem’s “New York I Love You.” Don’t say we’ve never done anything for you.
