Watch Arcade Fire Cover Jane’s Addiction and Guns N’ Roses in Los Angeles

Arcade Fire’s marathon Reflektor tour continued Friday night in Los Angeles, as did their penchant for location-specific covers. Like their renditions of R.E.M. in Athens, Prince in Minneapolis, the Smiths in London, and Kansas in, uh, Missouri, the Montreal sextet took on a couple of songs by famous L.A. natives Jane’s Addiction and Guns N’ Roses. A masked Win Butler did his best Perry Farrell impression on “Been Caught Stealing,” before the band used the iconic intro of the “Welcome to the Jungle” to transition into their own “Here Comes the Nighttime.” Watch fan-shot footage of that above via Consequence of Sound.

Fellow Montrealers the Unicorns opened the show, playing their first show in over a decade in celebration of the reissue of their album Who Will Cut Our Hair When We’re Gone?. You can watch a clip of that below.
