Watch Arcade Fire Cover the Theme From ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ in Los Angeles

On Friday night, Arcade Fire celebrated the start of their two-night stint at Los Angeles’ Forum with covers of iconic L.A. bands Guns N’ Roses and Jane’s Addiction. Saturday, they were back at same venue with another special L.A.-centric cover up their sleeves, this time of “Axel F,” the theme song from Beverly Hills Cop. The band launched into the instrumental at the start of their encore, right before transitioning into Reflektor’s “Normal Person.” Win Butler cheekily introduced the track as “F Axel” saying that it was  “actually written about Axl Rose.” You can watch the performance above, thanks to Consequence of Sound
