Wilco main man Jeff Tweedy recently started a family band of sorts with his 18-year-old son Spencer (appropriately called Tweedy) and after sharing the lead single “I’ll Sing It,” today they’ve released that project’s first music video, a pleasantly listless clip for “Summer Noon.” Directed by Allison House, the visual consists of little more than a computer-animated red balloon floating along a rocky coastline. But despite its minimalism, the post-human take on Le Ballon Rouge does just enough to convey the effortless breeze of the group’s rootsy melancholia. Tweedy’s debut LP Sukierae is out September 16 on Wilco’s dBpm label.
