As long as SPIN profile subject Dylan Baldi has been putting together scrappy tunes with Cloud Nothings, he’s collaborated with director John Ryan Manning to create visuals as nervy as the unnerving music. After teaming up for the distressing videos for “No Future/No Past” and “Fall In,” among a whole host of others, Manning and the Cleveland quartet come together again on a more minimal clip for Here and Nowhere Else highlight “Psychic Trauma.” The visual features a color-drained Baldi and his band running through a simple rendition of the track, while jittery camera and post-production work lend the performance a familiar sense of unease.
