Blood Orange and Skepta Prowl London for ‘High Street’ Video

Blood Orange 'High Street' Video Skepta SSense

Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes is a master at understated, atmospheric videos, even when he’s leading a female dance troupe for “You’re Never Good Enough,” busting his own moves for “Time Will Tell,” or traveling to his family’s old home in Guyana for “Chamakay.” That subtle beauty is on display again for “High Street,” the Cupid Deluxe cut that features British rapper Skepta. Here, the fellas mainly travel around London at night, performing in front of red buses, with Hynes graciously ceding the spotlight to his guest. Directed by Lucy Luscombe, the video was made in collaboration with clothing designer SSENSE, who also worked with Sky Ferreira on her racially controversial “I Blame Myself” clip.
