Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Mac Miller Consolidate Skills on ‘Hunnid Stax’

Ab-Soul Drops Track From New Album with ScHoolboy

In comes a new banger from Top Dawg: “Hunnid Stax” by Ab-Soul, who’s prepping for the June 24 arrival of his new album, These Days. For the track you’ll find streaming below, the Los Angeles MC calls upon labelmate ScHoolboy Q and local pal Mac Miller (uncredited though he may be). The first taste of the LP — “Stigmata” with Action Bronson and Asaad — established Soul as the cerebral stoner-sage archetype on TDE’s roster, but the real statement came in the form of a recent trailer (seen above) contextualizing the album cover in which he appears to portray Jesus Christ.
