Watch White Lung Sacrifice Scarecrows for ‘Face Down’ Video

Judging by their ferocious songs and even more visceral shows, we just assumed that a day off for White Lung isn’t like a day off for us. Whereas we might take in a movie, eat some brunch, or get some household chores done, the Vancouver punk act maintains a different sort of downtime. Namely, cruising around in an old Volvo, picking up flowers, hitting the beach, and setting some scarecrows on fire, as witnessed in the music video for new track “Face Down.” Seeing that frontwoman Mish Way decided to wear a fur coat for the sunny shoot, we’ll assume it was too cold to take a dip after said scarecrows were toast. Enjoy the VHS-style clip above and look out for White Lung’s third album, Deep Fantasy, due June 17 via Domino.
