Hear Justin Bieber and Migos’ Syrupy ‘Looking For You’

J-Biebs also heads to the studio with YG

Justin Bieber may still (allegedly) have poor enough judgment to egg houses, but at least he — or someone on his team — has good taste in buzzy rappers. Following a team-up with Chance the Rapper earlier this year on “Confident,” the Journals singer emerged last night with “Looking for You,” a new single featuring Atlanta’s Migos.

While the reedy production of Bieber’s polished Pop&B is a far cry from the colorful Zaytoven beats that Migos often call home, the trio manages to fit in surprisingly well. They help out on the hook, deliver a couple of endearingly choppy guest verses, and generally give Bieber’s squeaky-clean instrumentation the sort of edge that he’s probably seeking.

Speaking of prominent rapper collabs, based on an Instagram shot, it looks like Bieber is in the studio with YG, who released the essential My Krazy Life earlier this year.

Check out “Looking For You” below, and peep that kinda cringey pic of Bieber and YG.
