Watch the Beastie Boys’ Mike D Hype the Brooklyn Nets

The Beastie Boys, Mike D, Brooklyn Nets

When not on the basketball court, Mike D has been putting together 10-minute punk-trap tracks and reuniting with Ad-Rock to help Yoko Ono. The Beastie Boys recently marked the third anniversary of Adam “MCA” Yauch’s death, and breakdancing monks paid tribute to the fallen group member. The Paul’s Boutique corner on New York’s Lower East Side won’t be named “Beastie Boys Square” anytime soon, but you can revisit the album cover via Google Street view.
