On Record Store Day (April 19), the Black Angels will birth Clear Lake Forest, a seven-track, limited-edition EP that’s on the way via Blue Horizon Records. Pressed on clear vinyl, the upcoming set follows the Austin outfit’s fourth studio album (last year’s Indigo Meadow) and features the just-released track “An Occurrence at 4507 South Third Street.” Opening with thumping organ, the new song comes drenched in distortion and imbued with the warm, stirring croon of frontman Alex Maas.
