For this cut from the New York crew’s May 13 Sacred Bones album, Love, boss man Damon McMahon press-ganged bari-sax buster Colin Stetson (Bon Iver) and Godspeed You! Black Emperor guitar-god Efrim Menuck, which goes a long way to explaining the echo-y excellence of what you’ll hear below. It’s dirty. It’s pretty. And turns out we can dig it just fine.
