George Lewis Jr. is known for many things. Among them: His Twin Shadow alias, his love of synth-powered melodrama, his talent for covering other artists’ songs, and his enthusiasm for motorcycles. But having a sense of humor? Not so much. And yet here we have a new video from the folks at Funny or Die that proves Lewis has comedy chops (or, at the very least, knows people who do). The just-released clip pokes fun at South By Southwest pop-up shows by having Twin Shadow play a surprise gig from inside a dumpster. Of course, the audience members are too busy chugging beer, snapping selfies, and looking at their phones to appreciate Twin Shadow’s live rendition of Confess stunner “Five Seconds.” Dumpster dive above.
