Kansas City’s Shy Boys display a killer combination of gentle, jangly guitar-driven sulk and sass paired with irresistible harmonies harkening back to ’60s male pop groups. With a name like their’s, it’s not surprising that when you actually see the three-piece — on the cover art or in a music video, for example — they like to keep hidden. In fact, the Shy Boys often feature a female instead. Here we have the video from the group’s “And I Am Nervous,” which follows in suit: a serene and shimmery-faced blonde whips her hair in slow motion, fading gracefully into the darkness. The video is their first from their debut self-titled record, which was released earlier this year on High Dive Records.
