Hear Samo Sound Boy’s Warehouse-Worthy ‘Divine’

Samo Sound Boy 'Open' 'Divine' Stream EP Body High

Los Angeles producer Samo Sound Boy co-founded the Body High label with Jerome LOL in order to give a home to dance music that’s as melodically rich and smartly assembled as it is visceral, chest-thumping, and sweat-inducing. Finally, the underground-embraced imprint will make the leap from digital to physical with the man’s own Open/Divine EP — a two-song set of analog house music that’s due for a 12-inch vinyl release on March 18. Thankfully, you can already hear both tracks right here, right now. Below, you’ll find the brand new share “Divine,” a mellow but propulsive foray into the heart of the underground rave — glistening, heavy on atmosphere, colored by strange effects. And beneath that is the previously released “Open,” via Fader, with its buzzing synths and cut-up voices.
