As predicted, Syracuse punk band Perfect Pussy took SXSW by storm last week after several months of near-constant digital buzz. The band’s Captured Tracks debut, Say Yes to Love, was released earlier this month and it’s a lean collection of brash, throw-back punk with throw-back punk values to match. They like to infuse records with blood, shred in basements, and relish in rage. And above all, lead singer Meredith Graves’ stage presence is quite infectious. Don’t believe us? The band is currently on tour through May, playing small rock clubs throughout the country.
