Last summer at the 11th annual Forecastle Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, Big Boi spit rhymes and captivated a sea of fans, all while sporting a leg brace. This year, he returns to the Waterfront Park the weekend of July 18 through 20, and will not only be more mobile, but his other (hip-hop) half, André 3000, will share the stage with him. That’s right: OutKast are headlining another music festival. The ATLiens are topping the bill at the 12th annual Forecastle Fest, alongside Beck and Jack White. Louisville’s own legendary post-rock group, Slint, will reunite at the three-day showcase for their first hometown show in almost a decade.
