Fiona Apple’s creative pursuits always tend toward the idiosyncratic, but her latest might be her oddest yet. The Idler Wheel singer recently appeared on French superhero TV show H-Man playing a German ecoterrorist named Biofrau. Her episode aired last night and video is availble now, showing a green-eyed Apple toting a gun and sunflower to take over a power plant. Naturally, H-Man intervenes in an odd mix of animation and stylized action from director Joseph Cahill, who also worked on Apple’s “Every Single Night” video. Enjoy it above, even if you don’t speak a lick of French.
