Watch Crosses’ Noirish Video for ‘The Epilogue’

Crosses 'The Epilogue' Video Chino Moreno

While the Deftones are Chino Moreno’s main squeeze, his focus as of late has been that electronic-based mistress known as ††† (a.k.a. Crosses). The group, which also includes Far’s Shaun Lopez and Chuck Doom, released its eponymous debut album in February, just a few months after unveiling the creepy clip for “Bitches Brew” (word to Miles Davis). Their new visuals for “The Epilogue,” which premiered at MTVu, induce similar feelings, even if the vibe is a bit different. Here, they utilize a wigged femme fatale and eerie projections, intercut with footage of a barely lit Moreno singing. While he’s busy with ††† at the moment, Moreno recently revealed that Deftones are working on their follow-up to 2012’s Koi No Yokan, so it’s been a pretty good stretch for his loyalists. Oh, and Palms.
