Seth Meyers Will Face Kanye West on First Week of ‘Late Night’

Seth Meyers Kanye West Late Night John Mayer Joe Biden

Jimmy Fallon can’t have all the fun. When Seth Meyers takes over NBC’s Late Night on February 24, he’ll be welcoming a stacked deck of guests. Sure, his predecessor has scored the likes of Justin Timberlake and U2 in the music department for the Tonight Show, but Meyers is kicking off week one with Kanye West — a bold move considering what happened the last time the Yeezus-maker did a talk show — and also the John Mayer Trio featuring Pino Palladino and Steve Jordan.

Country’s Brad Paisley will also appear, as will Christina Aguilera’s “Say Something” partners A Great Big World. And while Fallon will host First Lady Michelle Obama and Will Farrell, Meyers will nbd Vice President Joe Biden and his former Saturday Night Live “Weekend Update” co-host Amy Poehler. Others coming to Late Night include Lena Dunham, Kelly Ripa, and Patrick Stewart. As previously reported, Fred Armisen will lead the 8G Band, which features members of Le Savvy Fav.
