Common and Ab-Soul are ‘Made in Black America’ on Soulful Cut

Common Ab-Soul 'Made in Black America' No ID

Common has shared a new track from his forthcoming 10th album, the No I.D.-produced Nobody Smiling. The follow-up to January’s “War” features Black Hippy star Ab-Soul and breaks slightly from the album’s theme. Though the West Coast half of the track touches upon street violence and political themes (also, he calls himself a “Golf Wang radical”), our Chicago-reared host mostly takes the opportunity to drop flex and brag — “rap Tarantino, off the chain like Django.” The new cut comes courtesy of Los Angeles Leakers and Southern California rap radio station Power 106.
