Chino Moreno’s † † † (Crosses) made their network television debut on February 11, dropping by Jimmy Kimmel Live! for a double-header to support their eponymous debut album, released that same day by Sumerian Records. Supported by Far’s Shaun Lopez, Chuck Doom, and a pair of backup players, Moreno commanded powerful renditions of “The Epilogue” (which, weirdly, is not the final track on the band’s first LP) and previously heard single “Bi†ches Brew.” With the former, the Deftones and Palms frontman held court over a surprisingly nimble groove, singing “We’ve circled around our doom” in between guitar screeches and hefty electronic flourishes. And on the latter, † † † (Crosses) managed to transport the doom and menace found in the “Bi†ches Brew” music video onto the ABC stage — but, you know, without recreating an exorcism.

Delve into “The Epilogue” above and “Bi†ches Brew” below.
