Perfect Pussy are an exciting noise-punk five-piece from Syracuse, New York. Led by sing-squaller Meredith Graves, the upstate band’s intrigue isn’t just the graphic novelty factor of their unprintable name, a feminist fuck-you meant to disarm, but also the hardcore frenzy of their tersely exuberant live performances. Last year, they released I have lost all desire for feeling, a promising four-track demo of no-fi chaos that was so well received the band has since joined Captured Tracks. The Brooklyn label will be releasing their full-length debut Say Yes to Love on March 18, just after they play SXSW.
