Justin Bieber Arrested for Dopey Lamborghini Drag Race

Justin Bieber, arrest

This time Justin Bieber was the one taken away in handcuffs. In the innocent days of, oh, earlier this month, the Believe singer allegedly led an egg raid on his neighbor’s home — yes, you read that right — and when Los Angeles police checked it out, they ended up arresting buddy Lil Za for cocaine. Today, the pop star was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida.

The Biebz was charged with drag-racing and DUI, a police rep told the Miami Herald. His pals — including 19-year-old R&B singer Khalil — had evidently blocked off a stretch of residential road with their cars so the 19-year-old could use it as a drag strip for his Lamborghini. Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez reportedly said Bieber tested positive for drugs.

Bieber was incoherent, the police chief said. Coherent enough, perhaps: Police sources told the Herald the singer informed his arresters he’d been smoking weed all day, was on antidepressants, and had a beer. Police also said Bieber greeted them with “bloodshot eyes” and an onslaught of f-bombs.

“Why the fuck are you doing this?” Bieber asked the officer who demanded he exit his vehicle, according to the arrest report by the Miami Beach Police Department (via Twitter).

The report also notes that Bieber didn’t have a valid license and non-violently resisted arrest. After being told to put his hands on top of the car for a customary pat-down search, Bieber asked police, “What the fuck did I do? Why did you stop me?”

The singer then complied with police orders and put his hands on top of the vehicle, but quickly turned around and said, “I ain’t got no fucking weapons, why do you have to search me? What the fuck is this about?”

Bieber was told that if he continued to remove his hands from the Lamborghini, he would be taken into custody. He once again turned around to face the cop, who grabbed his right hand. “What the fuck are you doing?” Bieber asked while pulling his right arm away from the officer. Cops then collared him and took him to the police station without any further incident.

Several hours later, on Thursday afternoon, Bieber was released on $2,500 bail, according to MTV. The Miami Herald reports that Bieber’s breathalyzer test did not show significant alcohol use. He apparently blew a .014 and .011, amounts far below the legal limit and normally too low for authorities to suspend an underage driver’s license.

The arrest comes after Bieber had already been making gossip-blog headlines on his South Florida visit: According to TMZ, he shelled out $75,000 at a Miami strip club earlier this week.
